So how does this work now? The court does an auction sell off and whatever it takes in goes to pay down the debt holders and if there is anything left it will then go to shareholders? Is this correct?

This may be better now that they are forced to sell the entire company and there will not be a job waiting for them by selling the company out in a nudge nudge situation. You have to think that they still have pretty valuable assets and its in Wright's best interest to try to salvage something for shareholders seeing as he has 7 million shares. Probably not but Penn West got some great money ...more

nothing for the shareholder but CPG with their bought deal of $650 will pick up the scraps. It was one of the worst screws of shareholders in a long time. Now we will see another lie from Saxberg as the bought deal was for capex in 2016 and 2017 plus reducing the debt. Liar liar pants on fire.

When end I saw he CPG PR I was thinking the same thing... I actially re-read it to make sure I didn't miss something about acquisition.  Since LTS was still under the previous refinancing arrangements they are probably covered from a disclosure perspective.  If the deal didn't fall apart I'm sure it would have gone to 2017 capital and debt repayment but I'm betting ...more
