RE:When will this be halted?As far as I know there is no criminal investigation into the actions of the company or the previous owners and I doubt there will be one. If they prosecute Ascent for selling to dispensaries after the fact inevitably the fact that authorities never even bothered to find the source of the mountains of product on dispensaries shelves will come to light and probably make things very messy for the crown. It wasn't a priority at the time since it was basically an intermediate grey area and I doubt it will be a priority now. This is HCs deal and their mandate is to ensure compliance with the rules. Not to criminally prosecute individuals. I could be wrong but thats my take on it
