RE:RE:HALTEDThe company has just been falling apart piece by piece for the last few months. This is just another big piece. With Canada being sold, Ascent is as good as dead. The Nevada license is in jeopardy, and it was already not profitable. Oregon is also barely surviving. And Denmark was nothing more than a dream. There’s never been anything in Denmark. And the original executives who actually had a vision and a desire to take the company somewhere are gone. So the company is pretty much left with nothing. The remaining pieces will crumble in the following months as well.
The only hope at this point is if they end up with a bunch of cash from the Canadian assets and can somehow pump that into the US/Denmark operations and pull this truck out of the mud. But the whole ascent team has gone so I don’t know who’s going to do that.
