Levon Resources Ltd. (TSX: T.LVN, OTCQX: LVNVF, Forum) said Monday it has launched a 5,000 metre core drilling at its 100%-owned Cordero silver-gold-zinc-lead project in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Levon has previously said the 5,000-metre (28 core holes) will test for near surface, high grade mineralization within the modeled open pit, within the Cordero Felsic Dome portion of the known resource. More information can be found here.

If the drilling is successful, results can improve the projected economics of a starter pit being evaluated by an independent mining consulted.
