Great 2Q Financials with Improving Fundamentals

AFFO increased by 13.6% lowering the payout ratio to 87.3%.

If they continue this, the share price should reflect the sustainability of the dividend very soon.

All Big 3 Senior Living Institutions reported today, Sienna, Chartwell and Extendicare. Comparing the Payout Ratio for the three, Sienna is the only one with a Payout Ratio less than AFFO. Sienna's Payout Ratio to AFFO is 87.3%, with a Yield of 8.2%. Chartwell's Payout Ratio to AFFO is 118%, with a Yield of 6.24%. Extendicare's Payout Ratio to AFFO is 112%, with a Yield of 6.53

SIA will need to ba at 14.50 per share to have the same yield as chartwell and extendicare at 14.50 per sia share yield would be 6.45 bet a bunch leave those 2 and buy SIA Sienna numbers are hands down way better than the competitors this Q we should see a huge green day tomorrow glta

Well, with the security off the dividend, the trend in senior housing, the growth, and interest rates trending down over the next 24 months, I think we should be looking at 19 CAD pr share in approx 2 years.

Should make for an interesting CC this morning at 9 am. I'll be listening to it.  Only expecting positive things with continued strengthening fundamentals for years to come. Lest we forget, this is a recession proof business, which only got discounted to these levels due to a historic event called Covid19.
