ValueSeeing as Sinofert and Sinochem are the most obvious fits on the Chinese side, it would be interesting to know if Mag ever had talks with them. As it happened, Complant came into the picture via a reference or prodding from a govt minister when the original deal with another chinese state company collapsed. Still possible that Complant could end up 'sharing" the project with SinoChem, but that would be after the deal closes. And if it closes.
If it does, the valuation is meant to be done by an indepdent party, but we have not been given any information about what metric or terms of reference there is for said party to arrive at the figure. I used to assume that would be at least
.90 to a buck or more, but this has been an exercise in steadily reduced expectations.
So the questions remain, is there a deal, and at what price?
