RE: The risk is high

RE: The risk is highfirst of all investors should realize that investing in certain countries (s. american, africa, etc) there's always risk attached to it ... as for mart, i believe that they have established a good relationship with the villagers there as number of them are employed by the company ... there have been very little pipeline disruption (ie ... look a grand terra - (gte.t) in columbia had their pipeline blown up - stock is doing very well from a valuation standpoint) ... back to mart and its valuation ... the buyout at 14c didn't make sense with oil prices recovering and debt decreasing so the best thing for mart WAS NOT to sell but increase production and then maybe sell it for a better deal ... what they were going to sell it for was ridiculous .... 15 million shares didn't trade hands just for the hell of it when the announcement of the deal had fallen through ... new investors came in and saw the potential for a much higher share price, the MM always know best ... and as for the recent decrease in volume, well, people have filled their boots and are just waiting the all important 3rd quarter numbers ... which i feel should boost volume as they see mart as an incredibly cheap stock ... cheers ... joelou

ps.. how do you think addax started ... and they were bought at a premium ... companies will go to great lengths to secure oil
pss ... with high risk also comes high reward ... and as for mart i can't see much downside from here with 4000 bpd, only upside  ... as for me i've been accumulating since the deal fell through.
