RE: RE: RE: Voting
RE: RE: RE: VotingI agree with Oullins. Operationally, Mart has performed well over last year bringing wells on-line. CEO with Oil and Gas operational experience and Nigeria connections is what this company needs first and foremost. You can’t just replace CEO with capital-markets focused CEO.
Based on sophistication of Oullins’ coverage of MMT on this board and fact that Wade leaned on him and Chen (who I would guess are two of larger shareholders) for the presentation – I would infer that Wade is doing an appropriate job of consulting major shareholders.
The value will get unlocked here. Mart has held up exceptionally well in general market downturn. We need operational expertise to get UMU 8&9 on line in 2011 first and foremost.
I can’t imagine the politics of Nigerian Oil industry are easy to navigate as well. Access to the AGIP pipeline is paramount for increased Mart production.
Connected capital markets oriented board members and investor relations are the additions we need. Look out for dilution on new board members though.
