RE: RE: If there weren't large sums of money invol I don't generally copy and paste newsletters but given the situation and the fact that this really isn't exacxtly groundbreaking info,I will. It's not really too informative, just an opinion and a noncommited one at that.
I agree that in this sector a 15-20% fluctuation is daily range for many a stock so we shouldn't really give this much thought. But,for those of us with seriously overweight positions,it is a sizable amount of money relative to our assets so everything is a factor, including the opinions of a newsletter writer who could be right or wrong. It will affect the price so we must factor that in at least for the short term.Maybe it is to our benefit if we want to buy.I'm undecided but my gut is telling me that this is an opportunity to buy more before this becomes a very sizable and profitable company. If they get a pipeline deal and start cranking out the numbers I have seen others post, the profits will be something to behold.May take a while but things never happen as expediently as we would like.
At any rate, here are Shaeffer's comments.
"MART RESOURCES – MMT-TSXV
I have to confess I’m changing my mind on Mart. Generally, the first run on one of these juniors is the best run. And with 370 million shares out, even with the fundamentals in place, ($75 million cash and a better looking Q3 than Q2), it will be very difficult for investor momentum to return in a big enough way to turn this stock around. That size a float in the shares means a long recycling of sellers to buyers at only 1.6 million shares a day.
Those with a lower cost base can afford to wait and watch; I’m not sure I’m going to do that."
