With so many high tech surveillance tools available, would it make sense tooutsource security-  put sensors in the concrete and install security cameras and use drones etc to monitor the pipeline? It would be a lot less expensive than the losses from the theft. There would have to be a quick response team, but with enough deterents, maybe the thiefs will seek out the easier targets and leave us alone. I'm sure this has been thought of and considered, and where it does not appear to have been adopted in the current pipelines, there must be other reasons? Thoughts?
