You are right, the people who bought over $2 are not happy with Mart's performance right now.

When they annouce that they are producing more oil via the new pipeline it will go up.  If they announce they are aquiring new fields, then it will go way up.  It's always been the case with mart that the price reflects what they are currently producing or some announcement.

A lot of investors have regained confidence in financials so the oil industry as with other minning and commodities are not as popular right now.  I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the investment banks betray the public's trust again when they get overconfident and take on too many risks.  

It's good Mart has some pressure, then maybe they won't get sloppy and overconfident because they really need to prove themselves to retain investors.
