RE:RE:not defending Wade but.....

RE:RE:not defending Wade but.....That remark wasn't directed at you specifically. There has been a lot of comments on here and IV about it.I just referred to you at the end because I just read your post where you said you sold today ,which i totally understand BTW.I've thought about it many times.Wish I had,at $2.30 of course, but at the time I couldn't think of a better place to put my money. With hindsight of course there were many better places but we can't act on hindsight. All your points are valid. No arguement from me.I just get tired of reading how one day Wade is a genius and doing a wonderful job and then when there's a hiccup he's an incompetant idiot.I'm neutral.I can't really judge him cause I've never tried to do what he does.I doubt many here have,if any. Most people are not exceptional and I suspect that includes Wade.I know very successful guys I grew up with.I saw them getting drunk.Doing dumb stuff.Partying.Fighting.Now they're big shots and if you hadn't seen the whole picture, you'd think they are these incredible guys when in fact, they're just like the rest of us.More or less average. There are exceptions but few and far between IMO.Maybe i just have low expectations so i am not easily disappointed :) I prefer to think I am just a realist.

My point was that making timelines is not easy.I'm familiar with construction but I know most businesses are the same. It's a guess and one that usually proves optimistic for the simple reason that you can't think of,or predict everything. You will have missed something and that adds time.

I for one was shocked to find out that the pipeline was 2/3 done a while back when I thought it wasn't even started.Wade was a god then. Now there is a bit of delay for whatever reason and he's a retard again.I can totally understand why they don't like to make too many PR.If you are wrong, you get crucified. And that is more often than not.I have learned the hard way that you should never tell the customer more than you have to.I recently had a job going great.Ahead of schedule so i told them"if things go well,we should be done by this time, earlier than we thought".Inevitably something went wrong but the customer now had this best scenario early date in their head and even though I did meet the original deadline,I was a schmuck for not meeting the new date.Never again will I tell someone that.
