"Court finds not enough done by Shell to prevent sabotage" The whole article read a little different than your one line summary in my opinion, only 1 of 5 cases showed shell somewhat responsible, sorry I do not have the link.

Amazing, what a catch 22 for Shell. Imagine the outcry if Shell's private security force clashed with and killed a bunch of poor, hardworking, oil thiefs who are "just trying to feed their families".
