What matters most is that this divvy is safe and the pipeline is built in 2013.IMO

The divi announcement should be this week or early next week.  I requires a Board vote and that can be done by phone.  I do not see any issue.    Cash flow is OK, credit line was not touched.  Not much expenses since we are still waiting for the Nigerian Petroleum Agency to approve drilling on 11. It is an environmental approval believe it or not.  !!   ...more

In other words they were the ones buying Mart shares last week. This wouldn't have anything to do with the new Nigerian firm that is coming to buy shares cheap? Just a thought

Company is doing fine, stock price is at the mercy of the TSX Venture Exchange, which obviously is totally out of favor with investors.  Apparently we should all be selling any of our holdings on this exchange and buy the Dow 30.    I can't believe the pitiful volume we are seeing here.  It is not company specific, it is exchange speciific.

Great post Pistol, I was just thinking the same myself.  The problem is that Mart hasn't moved onto a secondary exchange yet.  I was an investor in African Oil Corp when it was still trading at $1/share (unfortunatly sold at $2) and I think one of the main reasons for it's strong run up (other than finding huge oil of couse) was that they moved onto a second exchange. I believe ...more

Who cares about the divvy? If they don't pay then the company is stronger. A dividend payment is a net negative at this point.    Why haven't they started trenching and laying pipe?? That is all that matters imo.  Is this pipeline going to be like the Calavalley pipeline in Yemen that was announced 5 years ago and delayed 90 days every 3 months for  each of the last 5 ...more

BK time? You really need your head checked.IMO

Even if AGIP was down for the rest of 2013 there is no chance of BK. It's only a matter of time before Mart gets the pipeline built and in 2014 we will double our record production numbers that we have had this far.IMO As Wade had mentioned the credit line can be increased to much higher amount if the right field comes and Mart decides to take a shot.

Hey Bobby, i went through the near bankruptcy in 2009 and remember you here. OK, so not BK immediately as a risk but what will be the stock price if Mart  takes outnthat loan and pays out divvies when the Agip pipeline goes down again???? Under a buck for sure   My point is why risk this. If they don't have the easments and sales agreements and can not get them (they have tried ...more

No divvy and i'm gone faster then lighting. Only reason why i have bought more and held on this long. My current longest holding and i want to keep it that way. Big things are in the works...we just need to give Mart some time to make them happen.IMO Mart is fine paying the divvy and if the pipeline goes down then we deal with it on the next divvy. If you remember me from back then, I guess ...more

Mart can pull divvy for one time with a merger if it included a bigger special divvy :)
