MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd MCDMF

Primary Symbol: V.BMK

MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is focused on the evaluation, acquisition, and development of precious and critical metals properties in Ontario. It is primarily focused on locating an economic deposit within its 100%-owned Scadding-Powerline-Jovan (SPJ) Project in Northeastern Ontario, located 20 kilometers east of the prolific Sudbury Mining Camp. The SPJ property consists of the Scadding, Powerline, Jovan, Blueberry, Loney and Golden Copper properties located east of Sudbury in Northern Ontario. The SPJ Project is targeting a system of interconnected precious and critical metals mineralization zones on an underexplored land package, which hosts the past producing Scadding Gold Mine and multiple known critical and precious metals prospects and showings. It also covers a Metasomatic Iron and Alkali-Calcic (MIAC) mineral system that formed polymetallic Cu-Au and Au-Co, Au, Silver, and REE exploration targets.

MAGNESIUM + ALUMINUM ( nickel )

MAGNESIUM + ALUMINUM ( nickel ) I've shown in prior posts - older assay reports that reveal - aluminum + magnesium with in the
Scadding Mine -

- Sodium - salt
- Aluminum - salt
- Magnesium - salt
- Phosphorus - salt
- Potassium - salt
- Calcium lime - salt

yes... lots of salts - sodic intrusion.

I've also shown that there are unique species of nickel and cobalt that can bond to
aluminum + magnesium.

And.. i've also pointed out - how minerals can bond together - and if one has more percentage
than the other - chances are.... XRF will choose the higher percentage mineral.
20% iron + 2% nickel.
Iron will win over - nickel won't even be known.

It becomes more complex when... nickel bonds with - salt minerals.
Why ?
Like i mentioned in oprevious posts - XRF
can't detect some salt minerals such as - magnesium.

Add to thids the complexisities of, various pyrites, areso, pyrrhotites, penlandites etc...
And hidden nickel with in, and a cheap XRF - won't help the matter.

 NICKEL IN - MAGNESIUM  = ALUMINUM ?
YES...

SCROLL THIS LIST -
Find Nickel - there are 28 species of rock that contain - magnesium and nickel.
https://www.mindat.org/element/Magnesium

CLICKED THE NICKEL LINK -
It shows 10 magnesium + nickel blends.

HOW ABOUT ALUMINUM - NICKEL ? (Ni,Mg,Al)6((Si,Al)4O10)(OH)8

(Fe2+,Mg,Ni)(Cr,Al)2(SO4)4 · 22H2O

(Co,Mg,Ni)Al2(SO4)4 · 22H2O

Scadding mine - has aluminum values - 11% - 17%  ( middle zone )
Magnesium was also present in - Scadd mine.
And... just north of - Scadding Mine - there's significant dolomite ( calcium + magnesium )
Can't help but think... what if, nickel runs in these dolo ores.

ARE OTHER PEER ( JUNIORS )
FINDING NICKEL IN - MAGNESIUM ?

Green River Gold - confirms - .188% nickel + 20.30 % magnesium.

Inomin's inaugural drilling program hit significant mineralization in all drill holes including 252.1 metres grading 20.6% magnesium, 0.16% nickel, and 0.33% chromium. All holes ended in mineralization leaving the discoveries open to expansion in all directions.

Sounds like,  Inomin's former owner who assayed - didn't find the - nickel.
Inomin comes along and  - reassays -
What process did they use to detect - nickel in the magnesium ?

Laboratory Analysis of Samples

Although the 2014 drill program and results were not completed by Inomin, L. John Peters, P.Geo., a qualified person as defined by NI43-101, was the QP and supervisor for the 2014 drilling completed on Beaver by the previous operator.

Analytical processing of the core samples for the reported grades from 2014 drill core was completed by ALS Laboratory located at 2103 Dollarton Hwy, North Vancouver, BC. Preparation methods (ALS code: SCR-41) involved drying and crushing the sample, then dry-sieving using a 180 micron (Tyler 80 mesh) screen. Analyses (ALS code: Ni-ICP05) was chosen for the selective decomposition of nickel sulphide to discriminate the nickel between the sulphides and the silicates. A solution mixture of 10% ammonium citrate and 35% hydrogen peroxide was used to leach the samples. Hydrogen peroxide, a strong oxidizing agent, oxidizes Ni sulphide to sulphate and releases Ni sulphide into the solution. Nickel in oxide and metallic forms are not leached if the leach time does not exceed a few hours at ambient temperature. Total digestion time was 2 hours. Final analysis was completed using Inductively Coupled Plasma - Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES).
