RE: RE: The company is not for sale at least for n About  a year ago we discussed with IR the possibility for the Medicago's Board to introduce an investors' rights policy, including a "poison pill clause" to avoid a cheap takeover. The request was turned down fairly rapidly, claiming that the MANAGEMENT did not see the need for it. I have two concerns: 1) based on past behavior the management has never shown much concerns for the "retails" investors 2) from my perspective, and right from the start with my involvment with Medicago (over 800,000 shares), I have been claiming that the numbers of shares and options held by Sheldon the President, in spite of his generous salary and compensation packages, are not enough for him to "think" from a shareholder's perspective. In other word, as "retail" investors in this firm, we are very vulnerable. The matter of "poison  pill" and "investors' rights probably should  be brought to the attention of the board but do not hold your breath. as itt is well spelled out in Medicago policies  (check SEDAR) that dealings with investors is a management (Sheldon) responsibility. I would be willing to give it a second try by raising the issue once more directly with the CEO, but with the support of some "concerned" shareholders willing to come forward (not hiding under the anonymity of a bullboard).  How many shares do we "hold" as a groupI? two millions, three, five, I do not know but if we have enough it might give us sufficient weight to be "heard" and taken seriously. I am willing to bet that even Ricky might be willing to go for it. In spite of all his bravado, his blind faith and total loyalty, common sense has the upper hand here and in the back of his mind some " little doubts" must  be there also. I hope that my message is clear in spite of the fact that English is  my second language . If, any of you feel more confortable to send me a private message pertaining to this matter, rather than posting on this board, please de not hesitate to do so.
