Hantavirus

Hantavirus isn't any competition to influenza.  This episode will probably die out based on history.
The disease has never been known to be transmitted between humans. Various forms found around the world but in small numbers. Since Canada first identified it in 1994 about 50 cases have been reported, mostly in western Canada (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia). US discovered in 1993, mainly in the rural West and Southwest: Arizona, California(endemic), Washington, New Mexico, Montana and Texas. Its rodent host in North america is the deer mouse.
Hantavirus infection is not fatal in itself and is still a rare occurrence but if not treated can convert to HPS which is fatal in about 60 per cent of cases.

Won't make me sell my MDG.  Since the MDG 'system' could produce vaccines for both human and animal  pathogens, the discovery of a 'new' pathogen won't necessarily affect MDG.  In efffect the speed with which a vaccine can be produced is Medicago's big advantage.  When everything is approved and is economically competitive we'll know.
