RE: RE: MTO's share shortageMaybe it was sold on a pseudo-exchange like Alpha Trading or Chi-X or Pure. A few weeks ago I started noticing the same type of thing and asked about it. I found out about financial institutions forming pseudo-exchanges. I'm not sure when this all started but I find it to be a pain. Stockwatch now offers subscriber options to have those bids and asks included in their quotes. When I inquired about showing trades such as the last 10 trades or the Tradeworkstation they told me they don't have a feed for some of those exchanges.
I know that on www.alphatradingsystems.ca you can see the last 10 trades of any TSX or TSXV traded symbol that traded on Alpha as well as bid-ask, all 5 minutes delayed of course. I didn't look up the others.
Not sure if that's what you were talking about in your post but I hope this explains it.
