Hi Lito -1981. Perhaps this may provide answers ?
Hi Lito -1981. Perhaps this may provide answers ? First and foremost - like every venture in life - we all lose money at sometime or other - investing is a preference - a personal taste and an - acquired if I may say.... Most investors will fall in love with a stock for purely the name- like Nike - or hey they have a cool website - or I like them because others do - or because of the stats... As in what the company has or will have....
Falling in love with a stock - could be a readers worst nightmare.... Why? Well at one time - a trader could hold out for many years with their favorite stock and be rewarded handsomely... Can we do that now ? Some say yes others will say no....
I think what we have in this present day market - is quality companies - and most investors who are disgruntled are not looking at the whole scope of the matter - many will want to blame the company - all because it's easiest to do...
But before anyone should ever b-itch about a company - they had better have given it some thought and perhaps come up with a resolution.... Answers that is..... I know if I bi-tch about a company and I have... I will at least provide a solution to what I'm not happy about.... Or at least call the company as a shareholder and voice my opinion... It sure beats posting nonsense on a bullboard and never providing any answers....
So having said this.... I would also ask - Lite 1981 - to rethink what's going on.... And please include the most apparent cause and effect.... That you somehow seemed to have overlooked...
Market manipulation.... Most gold and silver mining companies - suffered greatly when stocks started to drop....
Socwhatvcaused the drop in stocks? Gold and silver were running high in spot prices - but here's what I've noticed - I encourage you to search back a few years - and please do with numerous companies and you'll see a pattern - most all stocks started to drop when spot metals were beginning their slide in 2012 - 2013 - and from what I can detect - they didn't slide back to normal values of where they use to be pegged at when compared to spot prices a few years ago....
example.... Check a company back in 2006 2007 then. 2012 2013. Then check it out from 2014 - 2015 and check spot prices and the company stock price..
What you'll see is a very interesting aspect... That most investors overlook...
Present day stock values are far below what they use to be when comparing spot prices from former to know .... Also - to add insult to injury.... Most companies had far less assets back then - some weren't even mining - and their stock was valued far higher....
Whats changed?
Well - compare spot gold prices at $1200 and any company of your choice - and what you'll find is that they were teading far higher back then.... Some present day companies even mine now - but stock prices are bottomed out...
Many investors have noticed this - and many aren't happy - and wise investors can't blame the company - it's a system that perhaps - again perhaps the system that took all stocks down too far.... Farther than they should have been....
and now - add shorts and bashers and - start noticing why almost every good company has a few bashers on the board..
and then hen ask yourself why stocks don't go up ?
Let's just say I don't think they're on boards because they're bored in life - some even say they're not even in the stock... Hmmmmm. But they certainly have lots to say how bad the company is....
What I have found - is that - if shareholders begin speaking goodly about there company - something remarkable can happen.... Spirits are elevated - and a sense of hope fills the board...
If I could say one thing - it's that negativity will drag shareholders down.... And I'm sure that what they want... The bashers.... And if it drags down the shareholders happiness - ask yourself what else could it drag down ? Perhaps Stock prices ? Maybe not - but then again - maybe so.....
think about it.....
cheers !
