Irvine, CA ..LIKE my PARTER SAID they have done this before Try to avoid this company at all costs! I have seriously had nothing but trouble with this company and mission viejo test center. the only good thing was that they had plenty of available appointments the day I needed a test. I pre-paid $99 for the test online with my appointment but when i arrived they did not accept my appointment time because i was 10 minutes late to check in. my bad... maybe that's because i was standing in the wrong line for more than 10 minutes because their signage with directions are not clear! the woman at the check in window was so rude, too, wish i had taken her name down. so fine whatever, now I have to wait in the standby line. there were maybe only 8 people ahead so why did it take over an hour? these people move at a snails pace! finally an hour later after i'm sunburned i get to the window and tell them i prepaid. the young lady informs me that the test is actually free and hands me a business card, tells me to call the number (with a las vegas area code) to request a refund.

BTW this test center did not have the PCR test at the time, so i wasn't even able to know for sure that i was covid-negative 100%.

After I finish the test, I go sit in my car to wait for the results and call the number immediately. some guy named Devon answers the call and says i need to email the refunds department, he provides me with the email address. fine. so i email them immediately.

7 days goes by and i haven't received a single email from them so i call them again to complain. this time i speak with a woman who says the refunds department is behind and will get back to me eventually. fine, i'll give them more time.

3 days later i receive a reply back to my refund inquiry and all they say is "you are not eligible for a refund at this time, sorry for the inconvenience." UMMMM... so WHEN will i be eligible for my refund then? the email provides no name of the rep who responded, no contact information, nothing.... so i immediately call that number back. Devon answers again. i explain the situation to him. he asks me for some information and says he will look into it and get back with me... i never hear back from him.

i call back 2 days later (it has now been two weeks since my test and initial refund inquiry). the same woman i spoke to last week answers. she said Devon is gone for the day but he will be back on Monday at 9am. i ask her why does it need to be Devon who helps me? isn't there anyone else at that office who can tell me what is going on? she says no. mind you, the number is apparently to their customer service line, but she says their duties include answering phones and helping people find a local test center. she said if Devon said he was looking into it i should speak to him. not to mention that she puts me on hold while she checks Devon's work schedule but i can hear everything going on in the background including her and another worker bullshitting and laughing. WTF? I hang up with her and respond back to the email i received, hopefully they accept responses.

Until i speak with Devon again on monday, which i'm sure will lead to no where, i dont know what to do. this company totally scammed me. but I am entitled to a fricken refund! everyone else at that test center got their test done FOR FREE, so why did i have to pay $99? if this test was only $20 i'd just take the loss, but this was $99 and they are clearly scamming me. and have probably scammed many other people. I can't even find them on the BBB. so stupid!

only go here if you want somewhat accurate results for free but you may have to wait over an hour in line. do not make an appt and do not pre-pay for a test that is supposed to be free. Keep in mind they probably won't have the PCR test available.
