Great volume today. I don't recall the last million share volume day.  I wonder what the news was to move it.  The news releases today on Google finance were old news about the solar farm. I heard on the news that B.C. hydro has been cancelling contracts with small independent power producers that won contracts in the last power call, but do not have the financing to develop their plans.
When I heard this I thought it may be good news for Alterra. Perhaps Hydro may give a new look to projects like Dokie 2 or the prospective wind farm location Alterra has about 150 Km from Prince Rupert.  Alterra is in a good position to have at least Dokie 2 ready to go when they get a contract for the power.
Might also prove to be good news to get the other half of the Jimmy Creek/Upper Toba going.
