Are you sure of that math..... At 1 million liters per day @ 50 gms/ml I get 18.25 tones of lithium not 14,000 tons of lithium ----------------------------- """At a concentration of 50 mg / L, one is able to process over one million liters per day and potentially produce more than 14,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate per year. At today's conservative pricing of $ 12,000 per tonne, the potential would be an investment at nearly $170 million in revenue a year."""" --------------------------------------------- This is the math I get if someone can double check it would be good- -------------------------------- 50 mg/L = .05 gm/L ---------------------------------- 1 million liters per day = 50 million mg/ = 50,000 gms There are 1 million gms in a metric ton therefore 1 million divided by 50,000 = 20 ------------------------------- Therefore to create a ton of lithium, or 1,000,000 gms/L takes 20 days at 50,000 grams per day processed ------------------------------ 365 days divided by 20 days= 18.25 tons li per year ----------------------------------------- 18.25 tons x $12,000 per ton = $219,000.00 What am I missing here?
