TILLICUM - PINKS

TILLICUM - PINKSDecided to watch the Tillicum ( part 2 ) video on youtube.
And... to my surprize, lot's of pink colorations - so i decided to snap a few screenshots -
Next best thing to walking in the mine - wink.

But first...
what other minerals display colors of - pink ?

Hematite - is moreso a peachy pink.

Zinc - could qualify as what's seen in video - sphlaerite ( zinc ) is known in the historicals

Cobalt - could be as what's seen in video - not sure...  imagine having an pXRF - Oh hello.
Here are 2 examples - in different matrix to discriminate with in - grey rock.

What are my thoughts ?
pXRF  would tell the whole story.
inside  the mine and lots of cores on boxes outside.

Chief takeaway ?
The pink colorations were more promient in the grey host rocks - big bonus.
Only a small presence in the sulphide veining.
Which points to - perhaps far more ores due to host rock.

One needs to keep in mind - past miners chased - veining - gold.
To see this much pink colorations aside of the sulphide veining is quite - remarable.

The pink colorations appear in - a conglomerate rounded ( some chard ) rocks that appear
reassembled ( solidified ) = seconday deposit.
The grey pink rocks appear almost - greywacke - clays turned to rock.

As for mine closure - inhibiting entrance...?
I saw signs up, no entry.
And... bulldozed rocks and wood to inhibit entry.
There are numerous videos online with thousands entering old mines to review.
Public will go to lengths to gain access with in.
Near impossible to prevent public from entering on the premise of...
Junior still needs to access it themselves.
It's not a mine that has seen reclamation measures which officially brings closure - rather -
the mine still has valued minerals in which to explore and measure.
I'd say... some are being a tad harsh on the junior, overreach ?
We're a publically traded company - such actions affect the stock.

These are my thoughts...
Some may agree, or disagree.
But... i'm not a tree hugger, i'm a tree lover.
Yes.. .there's a difference.
Same goes with mining.
B.C.  is reknown for mining, but it appears there are those that want ot see B.C.
with full on - tourism... I draw the line on, green future - there are limitations...

Mining and forestry contributed singificantly to B.C.'s existence.
And as so... both mining and love of nature need to work together - meet in the middle.

And lastly...
the what if... Tillicum mine has significant zinc or cobalt ?
Such are needed for battery metals.

What i see going on now ?
Lots of junior stocks trading - investors vested - and...
Gridlock with the permitting, and environmental.
The future of mining in B.C. hangs on these two control gateways.
And... stock market with investors monies dependent on these two gateways.
If the gateways are too strignant - it's no wonder the valuations have diminished.

And i ask... how many stakeholders are waiting in the wings to pounce on good projects ?
Something to think about.

Cheers....
