FISH CREEK DEPOSIT - ( DRIFTWOOD )Yeah... Driftwood was once called Fishcreek.
Here's a few photos of our infamous Driftwood Magnesite deposit.
I will say... i often wonder what sort of " presentation " MGX prepared to push permits through.
As one will see in the photos, a good portion of the ore bodies are - above grade.
Some areas are a good 30m above grade.
Pointing this out in " visuals " is quite important when one is looking for enviromental acceptence.
If one compares the drill depths some are no-more than - 100m.
So.. .if there's 30m above grade in some areas - it would result in limited impact on the environment. Asthetically speaking.
Notice the grades of former explorer -
which are about similar to our present grades with additional drilling.
LOI - is an important subject.... losing the organics and especially CO2 upon firing - is important.
I don't know why the junior chose to run the route of Furnace... when, they could risk a good portion of the CO2 remaining in the end product - thus... compromising the intregrity of the Magnesium metal attributes.
What's far better ?
Target the dolomites - calcium + magneium
Crush, grind, dump in HCL... Filter the solution.
MgCO3 + CaCO3 convert to MgCL + CaCl
Apply - Electrolysis = 2 metals
Far simpler.
Less tonnage mined per year.
A good 20,000 tonnes mined yearly... set up with electrolysis running two metals...
would impress with bottom line profits.
The deposit runs a good distance above grade. ( photo in link below )
The elevation it's at... and if one broke ground below ( grade " evenstil, it would be minimal impact - in other words... one could carve it in a fashion of asethtically pleasing to the eye, environmentally speaking..

What i wanted to point out is...
Having the correct lighting is important inside of mine.
Low illumination - or non LED lighting will not help find the minerals.
Quality LED lighting that offers above the normal illumination is impertive.
Minerals will reveal themselves more readily.
I've watched several mining explores over the years...
Many of the explorers don't have quality lighting... and i can just imagine how much they've missed - passing by all sorts of minerals.

So .... imagine having photos like the one in link below - with in a permit report ?
I say... it would do wonders showing another whose behind office desk... just what exactly the project looks like.. vs - words or diagrams on paper.
Hell.. .even PEA or Technical reports could be better with more visuals.
Lastly...
I hope i've brought an awareness to the " pink " colorations in Tillicum mine.
But.. will the junior pursue this ? Hoping they're more action orientated and not just on paper
saying they'll back the shareholders - proving more minerals only strengthens a project.
