Are independent - can sel lwhat they wish or want.
That's the type of market to intrroduce a new - fuel.

  • here are 96 distinct brands of gasoline 
  • There are 67 distinct companies involved in the marketing of these retail petroleum brands 
  • 20 percent of all gas stations are price-controlled by Canada’s integrated refiner-marketers, down from 27 percent a decade ago.
  • 80 percent of all gas stations are price-controlled by individual proprietors, or companies who are not involved in the refining process.
  • About 5,500 individual outlet operators directly control the price at the pump
  • “Big Box” retailers and regional distributors have a growing influence on the fuel retail market.

Could a junior make a ( Mg ) fuel cell ?
Could it be done ?


70% hydrogen gas can bond to the surface of  - Magnesium.
That's a pretty big payoad.

What's more interesting is...
once the hydrogen is released, the magnesium still remains.
= making the magnesium a - reusable fuel delivery - system.

TASK ?
Conversion of current combustion vehicles
Securing distribution sites to offer fuel cell cylenders - 
Designing an " adaptable kit " to accommodate - all vehicles.
Offering fuel cell cylenders well below current gasoline prices per liter.

Cost of labor + conversion kit
= must be cheaper than consumer buying -  EV  car.

Cost of fuel cell cylender - preloaded ( xx amount of hydrogen )
= well below gasoline prices

pilot testing a ( single province )
= easier to deliver fuel cells


TARGERT MARKET ?
- those who buy new vehicles and want to switch up the fuel system to benifit - Enviroment.
- those with existing ( few year old ) vehicles that want same.

OFF SET FUEL COSTS ?
- fuel cell cost and labor to install should / would have to provide a payback with in 6 months - 1 yr .
. After six  months - consumer keeps on saving on the converted hydrogen  fuel.

MgCO3 + NaCl = MgCl2  - Na2CO3

MgCl2 - electrolyze ( during process hydrogen does release ) capture it.
Electrolyzed amagnesium = metal to make a hydride for fuel cell cylenders.
Chloride has many molecules - once on state of electrolytics - many hydrogen release.
NaCO3 = fertilizer

Theoretically...
the electrolysis model above would provide the magnesium metal + hydrgoen.
What if a company did use this model and arrived at a saturation point of fuel cell distribution ?
No more hydrgoen could be produced - right ?
True.
But.. they could either make their own " clean hydrogen " using solar + eletrolysis
or buy the hydrogen = load the fuel cells.

The premise of this idea.. ?
Once the fuel cell is designed with the hydride formula - oit can be reused and reloaded.
The major effort in intital phase is greater - but- the latter provides a recurring use and profit.

Then... bring forth the retail side of - fuels.
Major fuel companies don't own or control this market. ( very fuel aside of, shell, petrocanada etc..)
They too are " sellers " of thier own fuel - dependent on the retail - gas station / chain owners.

Offering a product such as this... would be just another prodcut the retail chain owner would offer.
Level playing ground - where a small fuel company - could compete against majors.

What would 10,000 tonnes of Mg offer - if made into a hydride paste ?
How many fuel  cells could be produced ?
Would such a small tonnage ( 10,000 ) ( during launch )service a province for consumers ?

I would guess the calculation one would need would require the formula of...
How many clients - which would be - exclusive client base - recurring residual profits.
VS how many vehicle conversions.
VS ( gov't ) assistence for conversions like they do for EV vehicles - could certainly spark growth
VS how much magnesium is required per fuel cell 
VS 70% hydrogen bond to ( xx ) amount of magnesium needed with in each cell.

There are " fuel injector type " hydrogen delivery systems already avail via other makers.
A junior would be wise to utilize such products instead of making own.

The trick would be consolodating a few ideas...
- fuel paste
- fuel cell cylender
- fuel delivery system conversion for vehicle ( hydrogen gas lines and storage tanks ) 
- outlets to provide conversions
- gov't grants for conversion ( ? )
- conversion benifits - fuel savings + environment ( stats ) for consumers.

The chief hurdle would be...
converting the magnesium from MgCO3  to metal hydride particles for easy release of hydrgoen.
making the fuel cell - flawless - adaptable - easy plug in design for fitment of vehicles.

This is how i would purpose the - driftwood magnesium.

It's a far safer hydrogen fuel deliver and stroage system than...
cryogentics that require intense cold temps.

Safer transportation of - hydrogen.

Better design, with backup ( small hydrogen storage tank ) that always has a few pounds of hydrogen between cylender changes -

No battery would need to be incorporated - like so many other designs have whereas, the hydrogen operates a generator to produce electricity to run the motor. This design is too costly, the entire ev battery coud be eliminated.

FAST TRACK ?
Buy some Magnesium + Chloride
Perform the electrolysis in lab
Once metal is created via electrolysis
= make the hydride.

MgCO3 to = MgCl2
MgCl2 = metal hydride

Once at the metal hydride phase
= on the road to = reusable hydride fuel cell cylender.
= Mg that is never sold, yet, used as a fuel deliver or carrier.
= keeps on giving.

QUESTION ?
Just how much could 10,000 tonnes of MgCO3 produce in a metal hydride ?
Keep in mind, once the carbonate is pulled and metal created, some loss occurs with - MgCO3.

STILL THINK IT'S A SILLY IDEA ?
Think again.
Mg hydride os....coming on strong - building momentum.

Or.... purpose the magnesium as fertilizers.
EASIER.. .But, it doesn't provide a residual when compared to - fuel cell tech using mag hydride.

haven't a clue what the junior has in mind.
All i can hope.., is that it's sometihng better than simple, Mgo.

Wango: MGX M had plans to procuce Mg metal but that fell through because JL could not raise the capital necesary to go forward.  Things gopt worse, now with minor investors trying to remopve JL from the compoany when it is imposible top do so. Get the numbers on this straight in your mind. MgO production at Driftwood will be more profitable than a modern Gold mine. Driftwood is fully drilled ...more
