Fear of what exactly?

Pretty normal to ask about sources when one makes claims, especially on places as dubious as a stockhouse bullboard.

If what Laroplex says is true, I would be happy, not fearfull. As previously stated I still have some shares in this I wasn't able to sell before the halt so if anything positive is to come of this company it would certainly be a positive thing for me, not a negative one.

You confuse my "negativity" with reality. When looking at the junior space, what has happened with this company, the quality of the individuals who have run it, and the poor use of funds when funds were available skepticsm is, at the very least, healthy in this case. We were sold on a story, years ago, one which has never come even remotely close to fruition. I realize you want to stay positive and hope for the best as it is your good money sunked into this thing.

Stupidy and fear are two very prevelant forces in the market, but null to a stock which cannot be bought or sold.

I spent the last three years in Latin America, a place where politics take on a different nature than they do in Canada. The change in government in Guyana was huge, a thing barely mentioned on this board (in fact, Wekerles involvment seems to be more important here than the political landscape of the country where this company is opperating) is very important to this company as a going concern. The fact that Shaakir was able to get the rights to the old Omai mine, and subsequently re-negotiate deadlines on continually missed payment, was a result of his connections with the prior ruling party. The party that is in power now existed almost solely out of detest for the previous party and their percieved discrimination. Is Mahdia gold even an issue of importance for a party gaining power after 30 years of what they thought was oppression? Most likely not...but it does play into the picture quite a bit, as this companies life support over the last few years has been their political connections.

If production is happening, why haven't they released anything? Is the production profit going mostly to a JV? What is Mahdia getting?

I'm sorry if you don't like what I have to say. You can always block me if it bothers you so much.
