Wise enough not to make any specific predictions as to where base metals will end up this coming year however
Agreed that copper prices in the past have been at below $1.00 for extended period. 
$.50 -.80 is a possibility but most forecasts that I have read average around $2.00 going forward.
China's huge growth did not exist previous. Even though declining it is still a large number.
Economic world stimulus programs on infrastructure will have an impact.
Higher cost mines will be shutting down.
Moly currently at $11 with most predictions at $15 going forward for 2009.
Moly used to build  nuclear reactors which will most definitely increase.
The production of oil pipelines will continue as well creating demand for moly.
US dollar will go down forcing commodity prices up.
Had an extreme reaction on the way up and now an extreme reaction going down.  May not be going to $4.00 again soon but don't think .75 will be seen either. At least not for extended period.
