RE: ChinaI'd like to add to that. Sometimes we see the media say stuff like, "...stock market appeared heading for a positive open on the first day of February trading as oil and gold prices rose..." The question is why are we seeing companies like ML's stock price increase when in fact their costs have just gone up because of oil and gas? The energy sector befefits but the mining sectors costs have gone up. So you would think that mining companies would be down but many are up. It is true the market is waiting for data from the manufaturing sector. But who's controling the up and down?
