Just received the latest on Meteor from JK. It was EXTREMELY positive. The most important thing that caught my eye, however, was his comment that this conference was NOT a forum for speculators/investors to invest their money. The KM conference was for the end user (consumer) to examine the myriad of technologies available to accomplish their task in the KM context. In this light, Kaiser says that MMI was extremely successful. It was a form of marketing research for MMI--the possible avenues to which their concept(s) can be adapted. IMO, MMI is the type of company that will be in the forefront for the next "revolution." Think of the 70's, 80's and 90's as the era where we used technology to store an immense amount of information. Logically, the next "revolution" will be how to "farm" this huge library and find the information we need. I hope this allays some of the fears that have started circulating on this board. Hoping this downtrend continues for a little longer so that I can buy more. :)
