Early Bird

I'll start the very first post of "UNO" off by saying:

Early bird gets the worm, so to speak.
Fresh out of the gate last week with UNO now rtrading on the Venture Exchange anyhting is possible with Chuck Fipke at the helm.

.10 - .11 cents today (April 7th 2014) seems a pretty good entry pooint considering the financing was done @  .10 cents and a drilling program to commence at the end of this month as per the press release today. High radon counts from ground surveys announced today with lake water radon surveys starting now from the ice.

What is interesting about this play is not that Canalaska spent $8 million on the property and never drilled it, but that the property on the east side of the Athabaska Basin on the Manitoba border, it is on trend of the Wollaston domain. Has a 35 km long conductor running through it, has mineralization outcropping grading 9.5% U308, with boulders grading 60% on a couple islands.
Once they pick the drill targets as the rest of the radon readings arrive this month, this stock could gahter a few eyeballs watching closely to see what they come up with. Should they make a discovery, UNO will be a rocket imo!

Gettem early, gettem cheap!

Good luck!

Cheers..

Hi Chattyc, Looks like a good one, and like you said a cheap one to buy into. Fipke involved is great, and I think that Jen Irons from MTX is also involved plus Ulansky. Great mangement, possibly great property, and maybe uraniums year to shine, is a great combination. Cheers,

Great management? Yah! Just look how great is their performance with CD and MTX. The only ones making money is management and their side business companies. They can't run the other two companies efficiently, what makes you think they will do better with this company? The only way you might make money is to sell on a slight price increase, before any news is released, after that it'll ...more

Bandi... understand you have an axe to grind with MTX... don't know CD but what I can tell you is that they have managed to option a property that has had 8 million in prior exploration funds spent on it. They get to walk on site conduct Radon and then drill. If the outcrops and Radon signatures reveal U308 what you might think of their failure to get on site at U2 or possibly Quebec will be ...more

I'm just saying to be carefull, regarding any upward movement, without news. In all likelihood a sign to sell on a gain, as things might fall back, once news are out. Normally, price moves up on good rumour and down on bad, but not always the case. I lost too much believing in these guys already, so I'm wary of any new investment with them. I do wish you luck, though and I hope you make a ...more

They have not drilled a hole yet. This upcoming drill program will be the first.

Not entirely accurate, CanAlaska sunk 2 exploratory holes (50 meters) back in 2006 I think... Obviously not enough to tell the story here and they had planned a follow-up but it had then been cancelled... Now it's our turn..  I agree when someone like Fipke grabs 20% of the company it makes you wonder what he saw, whatever it is it must be good!  Hey Losecash... Welcome aboard, don& ...more

Campin: Drilling Other than two orientation NQ coreholes (57.3 m) completed in the Maguire Lake area in 2007, no additional drilling has been undertaken by CanAlaska on the Northwest Manitoba Property

No one is 100% successful, but that doesn't change his ability, he is well regarded as one of the best in the game... He earned his reputation on finding diamonds I'll admit, but I'm sure searching for uranium is not that different for someone like him... As far as his knowledge and ability (as a geologist) I definitely put him up there with the Ainsworths and McElroy.. Another thing ...more
