Dermot Desmond and Mark Wall's Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. (MPVD) added one cent to 46.5 cents on 339,000 shares -- huddling on a perch not far removed from the company's all-time, COVID-ridden low of 25 cents in the dark days of 2020. The company can sell as much rough as it can mine these days, but sagging prices have investors worried. How worried they should be, will be revealed in two weeks with formal release of the second quarter report. Expect a solid quarter, reduced revenue expectations and words of good cheer for the future.
