The Wall

The WallThis wall has been placed so someone can acquire more shares.  The only one I see accumulating large volume has been Raymond James.  The only other reason for a wall would be to keep a private placement price cheap, or a buyout, but we are not in that situation at the moment.  Negotiating a JV has nothing to do with MNR share price.  It comes down to the cost incurred by the JV partner to get the gold to the brick stage.  After those costs are taken into consideration, then both parties try to negotiate a fair percentage split on the profit.
I think that who ever has that wall up, feels that there will be a "halt trading" announcement issued, so they can pull those shares off the market, when the deal is done.  But...because it is common knowledge that a deal is being worked out, Peter would not have to have trading halted to make the announcement.  It costs the company about $50,000 to issue a "halt trading" announcement.  So I am eagerly awaiting a sudden buy of those shares...because someone ALWAYS knows the news before we do.
