COLOMBIAColombia is a superb - geo study.
Top end is realatively flat still on par with ocean elevation.
Very small upheavals, and lots of sands.
Retrospectively,
Imagine this upper portion of Colombia under water.
Lava flows creating rock.
Overtime, rock formations shift upward.
Not into mountains, rather flat with mounds.
Raw rock attracts reef formations.
Wave action breaksdown rocks above grade.
Reef organisms process the solubilized minerals
from alkai sea water.
Reef forms.
Compounds and becomes thick, reefs.
Organisms are great at processing minerals.
= concenteated minerals.
Overtime,
reefs rise further out of ocean.
Become booked mountains.
Eventually, mountains fall back on self.
Covering the reefs chalked full of minerals and sands.
Miner comes along, sees thin sheets of copper
few meters thick, some areas 15m thick.
Asks, how was this deposit deceloped ?
Long similar trends drawn out over 100 kn.
I propose, the answer can be - found - if one studies
the reefs and stronatolires in upper, colombia.
The chances of finding a ( whole reef ) deposit still intact
not pushed up into a mountain, nor back fallen on itselk
creating think sheets...would be found in upper colombia.
Similar to the aqua disposition, i pointed out.
Essentially,
I would strongly lean towards - copper reef deposits.
You know....
Tango Reef.
Tease.
Good theory.
Something Max and Colombia Geo team should consider.
