C-GJLQ in Spokane, to be painted, interior refurbed, by IAC?

Four-hour flight from Toronto to Spokane today.

https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/c-gjlq

Select the flight and replay, if desired.

The plane appears to have stopped in a parking area not far at all from Aero Center Spokane, which could simply be a stopover.

"Aero Center Spokane is our brand new facility at Spokane International Airport (KGEG). The FBO features 36,000 sq. ft of FBO and hangar facility with 1,200 sq ft of office and 27,000 sq. ft. of hangar space available."

Wikipedia: "A fixed-base operator is an organization granted the right by an airport to operate at the airport and provide aeronautical services such as fueling, hangaring, tie-down and parking, aircraft rental, aircraft maintenance, flight instruction, and similar services."

Why Spokane? Don't know for sure, but...

The plane did end its flight about 700 meters from International Aerospace Coatings (IAC) - Spokane, on the opposite side of runway 26.

Watch IAC paint / rebrand an Electra Airways plane here...

And there is International Aerospace Coatings (IAC) - Shannon, Ireland.

Canada Jetlines C-GCJL was painted in Shannon, Ireland.

"New Canadian operator Canada Jetlines have recently taken delivery of their first aircraft- A320-214, C-GCJL, which has been painted at Shannon."

wheelsupnetwork.ca: "The aircraft was flown from Shannon, Ireland where it recently underwent painting and interior refurbishing."

IAC has a total of 11 locations, with 7 in the U.S. and 4 in Europe.

Maybe tomorrow we will see more movement.
