i agree with bullchart, why would they halt this stock? this is such a delusional, stupid thought? after all, it's a free market and the shorters have as much right as we all do. if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. what else would you like? someone to pay your mortgage, fix you a nice breakfast, put gas in your car? come on, man up and weather this out. it'll pass and the stock will pop.
as for the company's reaction, imho, they are going about it all right. they put out a fairly timely, well thought out point-by-point counterpoint, have retained a top notch third party auditor to re-review all numbers, doing the investor road-show (which is paramount to not only allay concerns but to garner their public support, which has come). you can't knee-jerk react to these things without thought and take mindless actions jsut to appease some antsy small time investors. believe me, they are mobilizing very quickly with purpose. they will go after people to get vindication.
