RE:Today's News....Hi Jilly,
One person's take but I think the market on both sides (holders and buyers) was expecting more and had, in many ways been coached by Paul to expect more.
The information that had been laid out was that no sales would be announced until there was a major order. That, in concert with the numbers shared around manfacturing capacity of 20,000 per month led people to believe that we might be getting an announcement in the 1000s when the first major sales came out. That we halted for the news today also probably added to that feeling.
I actually think that the news today is great and the company is proceeding along an achievable timeline but when there is a delta between expectation and reality you get frustration and that led shareholders to sell too willingly and buyers to realize that they were still in control of the stock.
I'm very confident on Kontrol. I think they have an incredible product that, if it were manufactured by a name brand (Honeywell, Johnson Controls etc) would be a multi-billion dollar business. Kontrol are trying to build a brand and establish a new technology and distribution infrastructure all at the same time. It's hard and so i think we should be looking for a ton of singles with this stock rather than the homerun that perhaps the market had believed it would be.
I'm sure others will have different views but just my take,
GLTA and Happy Holidays
