Bid Ask Pretty Muted....
Generally the bid ask can provide some indication during a halt as to whether the news is good or bad. This is the result of news leaking out versus pure speculation. In the case of KNR's halt, the muted response confirms how tight lipped Paul is and the great job the team does at keeping news under wraps. LTD1

On my platform the ask is up one dollar over yesterday's close and that is unusual (it does stretch of course but not that much). But I wonder what comes next, Halted at the request of the company pending news. Well, come on you super slueths: break the news for us on the board. Who can find it first...? Go!

Completely irrelevant at this point - not even news have been released. I don't think the exchange is reflecting anything at this point or even trying to. Once news comes out, there will still be a bit of a halt and then the jockeying will start.
