$500,000...
Right after the NRC(government of Canada) did its own independent tests, the NRC did give KNR access to $500,000.
This $500,000 could be a pointer that KNR detector did get results that were better than expected.

No. Nothing to say "better than expected". It was clearly stated that typically NRC funds those initiatives that it views as having a degree of commercial success. That is as far as you can go with that one.
