RE:I just got wordCNBC has done a couple segments lately on the importance of these stations. They protect the number of launches of satellites will be growing 1,000's of % over the next 10 years.

Will help mankind survive many horrifying environmental disasters, plus help yield better crops. Just a couple things they say that sparked my interest. 

MAXQ will fly. (Pun intended)
