More news from VERSES ($VERS.n) w/ a 13% jump after announcing the expanded deployment of Wayfinder, VERS' COSM-powered spatial order picking software, to all 18 North American distribution centers for NRI Distribution Inc, a leading third-party logistics provider.
This deployment builds upon the success of the Wayfinder pilot program and is an important step in NRI's growth strategy, as well as for VERS' commercialization and expansion of technologies.
Wayfinder has been proven to increase efficiency, resulting in a 35% to 50% increase in productivity gains, by reducing the cognitive effort that warehouse workers experience.
The NRI CEO Peter McKenna emphasized that Wayfinder is a game-changer for the industry as a whole and improved their individual performance by nearly 40%, providing a huge competitive advantage.
This news comes shortly after, VERS announced the commercial availability of its two solutions, COSM AI Operation System and Wayfinder, for the supply chain and logistics markets.
Notably, in a recent interview with Market Mindset, VERS Founder & CEO Gabriel Rene commented that their tech has "resulted in a 10 year, 8 figure contract with their first customer" as well as that VERS has "multi-billion dollar Fortune 500's that are asking for that same capability". VERS is currently doing paid pilots with each of these companies and Rene noted that VERS is expecting a "wave of press" where they are deploying with different customers and different large-scale industrial clients.
