RE:RE: Drill for structure drive for gradeI'll stab at it.
You drill to find the dimensions of an orebody- depth, perimeters, and strata. Where the best grades are located and at what depths. Then you develop a mining plan (drive) to extract the best grades which is tricky because so many things go into site development. Often you have to mine through some cheap rock to get to the good stuff. So you drive through that to get to the good stuff. Pretiums ore body has been likened to a piece of raisin bread- which means there are zones of excellent grades like Cleopatra- and then 5 gram a ton grades.
Most of us have been pretty tolerant of PVG's decllining grades and hoping they are just churning through ore poor stopes. It's an evolving story but none the less- hardly the 16 gram a ton gold mine they claimed in the prospectus thus far.
PVG deserves a better multiple and a better stock price than it has. The poor communication to shareholders, the failure of management to be truthful, coupled with the illegality of things like the developmental muck memo and the 9/9 trading mystery have kept investors away.
In my mind- the only thing holding PVG down is poor, untruthful management. Some people take a look at how a company has been handled and rather than take a big position- they view it with distrust. That's been a serious show stopper for PVG shareholders.
