about roughly 80 million fresh printed Newcrest shares!

about roughly 80 million fresh printed Newcrest shares!Do not go into this "choice" trap. There is NO legal junctim between the voting proceedure and your so called "choice" between Newcrest shares and cash.

Contact your broker or your bank where you have your PVG shares about voting proceedures if you are in doubt. Do not contact Pretium or any of their paid "advisers" about it.

This "choice" is anyway only a public relation scam, you can forget about. In the end Newcrest and only Newcrest has the right, to change any of your "choice" into a 50 / 50 pay out, if their stink offer goes through the voting !

You will get per 1 PVG share: C$9.25 cash and 0.4042 fresh printed Newcrest shares.

The present share price in Toronto is 22 CAD for a Newcrest share. Times 0.4042 makes 8.8924 CAD in form of "fresh printed" Newcrest shares per 1 PVG share. Plus said 9.25 CAD cash -> you get per one PVG share at present quotes a value of 18.1424 CAD.

The market in Canada trade PVG at time of writing with only @ 17.62 CAD. Annulized this is a big % difference just some days before the voting ends. It indicates that
  • either the market thinks: the deal will fall through and pay out will not happen.
  • or the market thinks: with the significant dilution of Newcrest shares by these fresh "printed" Newcrest shares (they are obligated to deliver), the share price of Newcrest will tank down.
May be both possibilities are priced in by the market. Anyway a bad sign for that "deal"...

BTW: I traded Newcrest shares in small portions for test purposes last week on US stock exchanges. In US trading Newcrest is only listed on the "pink sheet". The broker accepted my order only under reserve. My Newcrest sell order on US market on Friday was not accepted ! Reason was due to the "odd" size (565 shares). Average daily trade volumes for Newcrest shares is in the US: 14,380 and in CA = 2,435 shares ... If only a small fraction of these "fresh printed" roughly 80 million Newcrest shares will hit such at thin volume markets for sell, this will be a plain desaster.

Be prepared that you must sell your Newcrest shares on Australian markets with extra fees plus complications. And with a significant lower market price as it is now before the Newcrest share dilution had happened.

Vote against it and submit your vote !

PVG and Newcrest spread knowingly disinformations about the voting and these "choice" proceedures. They want that you contact them about it, because they want your big Pretium gold you own as a Pretium shareholder at an under-priced "offer"...
