My question also- what are we missing! Lots of biodegradable pods on the market!

Co. is not saying if their pods are price competitive with existing products. I suspect not. They are counting on consumers paying a premium to be eco-friendly. Now they have to sell direct to consumers to prove it before the big players will get on board.

Pretty late response but good question!  From what I can tell......there are many of these compostable pods on the market, all of which are made by 2 companies.  PurePods and CoffeeClub.  Please correct me if I am wrong.  I'm sure they are both fine products, can't compare because we have not seen the NEXE pod in action yet, but from what I understand, if the product ...more

I tried to find Purepods and also CoffeeClub.  Purepods: what came up has nothing to do with coffee but to habitation in New Zeland.  CoffeeClub:  what came up has nothing to do with compostable containers.  Maybe you should give the links to help matters out. Thank you in advance.

Sorry, it is actually purpod100 and they seem to be associated with Club Coffee, one might own the other.  Either way, can't buy stock in them.  Again, if you want to invest in the science of compostable coffee pods, you have one choice.  NEXE.  From what I understand, the purpod composts in 84 days.  They get rejected at the facilities and tossed in landfill because ...more
