Registered Investment???
As a Canadian investor, I am trying to determine if the common stock of Valterra are considered to be a "registered investment" (thus elligible) for registered accounts like an RRSP or TFSA. To be considered a registered investment, it must trade on a "designated" stock exchange. I realize the stock price is listed on the TSX.V (vancouver exchange) which is considered a "designated" stock exchange but it appears to trade OTC or Over The Counter, which I believe would render it not to be trading on a "designated" stock exchange and thus not elligible for registered accounts. The stock in the US definitely trades OTC, which gives me concern that it also trades OTC in Canada. Any input from other Canadian investors here would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You should be good to go Scorpio. If you go back to my post on Dec 9th it shows trades for that day happened on different exchanges. There were trades on the tsx venture. No reason to see why it wouldnt be.

If Democrats win both Georgia senate seats then gold price will stay north of $2,000 starting this week and will climb to $2,200 by end of February.

yes, i am fully loaded at 700,000 shares in my non registered accounts but wanted to move some to my TFSA. Have a call into the CFO at Valterra to confirm on the qualified investment status for TFSA accounts in Canada. Long and short is I am reasdy to rumble.
