Will NMX buy out CRE?That may be the better question. NMX has the market cap to do it and if they could consolidate two ore bodies all linked by the Nemascau road then they could mine everything and process it all in one central facility. Plus it would help them boost their land holdings in the area, expedite permitting, and so on.
NMX-CRE would not just be a top story in Quebec it would be a top global lithium story. Lots of M&A in the lithium game so far so clearly the trend is to go big.
While NMX and CRE both doing well on their own but together they might have even great liquidity and analyst coverage.
Long both names.
Also worth paying attention to ASC, LMX, DGO as other Nemaska area plays.
