Chinese spherical graphite prices up on tight supply
China’s spherical graphite export prices rose alongside rising Chinese domestic prices due to tight supply caused by surging electric vehicle (EV) demand and producers increasing export offers.
Chinese producers have pushed up spherical graphite prices, underpinned by fewer spot cargoes and buyer demand remaining strong in response to the rapid growth in EV battery end-markets.
