The smart guy for Li-Ion is in DalhousieTesla build a new lab with NRC in NB, previous to that Dahn works for 20 years with 3M in NB and is the inventors of NMC basic patents use in EV industry, licence to many players and subsequently sold by 3M to Umicore.

Tesla still behind competition and able to spot smartest mind to innovate also in materials for batteries. Impressive company, GB not Elon Musk unfortunatly.
