RE:RE:Telsa Battery Day Coming ...Many months ago Elon Musk was approached, but nothing came of it.  While in theory it might make sense to have vertically-integrated operations, at the time Elon had enough issues trying to hit production targets.  While their situation is better now, the complexities of owning, managing and operating markedly different businesses (requiring different skillsets) make it difficult, to say the least, for them to take the plunge.  This is not a terribly likely scenario, but anything is possible (especially at the right price).
