This is politics in action! The clear fit of the Nemaska project with Quebec's economic structural objectives should be enough for any government and its representatives to take action aimed at helping the project succeed. To do so alongside existing stakeholders who got the project started and who have the incentive to take political action is, quite apart from simply being the right thing to do, the politically expedient approach.
