If we refinance with emission of shares

At which value the new shares will be set ?

is there a rule forbiding to emit new shares at. 1$ For instance ?

this is to tackle the problem of dilution .
i say this because the pallinghurst deal was set at 25 cents .
could have been any price though .

i can see a reverse split to get actual shareholders at same price if needed .

i must be talking nonsense .

25 cents in PG offer was meaning 2.4 billions new shares on top of 850 millions, so an enterprise value of CAD 813 millions, quite generous for a distress asset. Since that repay bonds for $350M, pay fine of $30M (and $50M interest) ... bonds interest + fine cost CAD 120 millions, close to half of 280 millions offer at 1$ burn. 10 cents will be already a nice outcome !

TTT - there was no additional interest due at time of bond repayment and settlement was made from the existing overrun account. So to be clear, what has to be replaced is the 350m bonds only and the original shortfall (375m) although Pallinghurst had indicated 600m to be on the safe side. So the overall figure is around 1B. 25c would be a better outcome and I see no reason why it cannot achieve ...more

No reason ? if was so easy will not be in CCAA process, unbelievable that there is still investors dreaming that CCAA process is just a small event in NMX messy history. Still some hope but 25 cents is pipe dream.

New ventures are never easy, in particular in a juvenile evolving industry. But if the basics are there then visionaries will make it work. Please also remember that Nemaska were under CBCA Section 192 from the date Pallinghurst / Nemaska announced an interest, so nothing new. From July 2019 Nemaska and Pallinghurst have been discussing their options under CBCA / CCAA and even now there is no ...more

Well interesting point of view but GB is not Elon Musk ! Project cost jump by 260% between 2016 feasability study and 2019, is it VISION or MIRAGE ?

mick...my calculator is different than yours 350+375+50=775 and let's not even talk about the business damage that GB has done by signing all the contracts and NMX is not honoring...very bad for business...there is ZERO chance that NMX will ever be able to do business under this name or under this structure...has to be sold in Liquidation and all commitments wipped out (including the reatil ...more

And I'm sure the April 17th deadline for LOI's will be extended because of the sheer number of interested parties out there that just can't seem to get their submissions in because of the pandemic!!! It will give some ongoing hope... Why is it that Ontario owners of cottages in Quebec are barred from entering Quebec to isolate themselves, yet the PM's wife and kids leave Ottawa ...more

Imo everything is on laptops and computers, so no need for an extension. When I first saw that Trudeau was isolating for another two weeks, he's just hiding and wants some stress-relief from the family! lmao

Mick, jus ta quick reply as I don't have too much time... +50 million comes from NMX's screw ups paying interest on money they can't use plus closing a contract with FMC + we don't even know how much all the lawyers cost... twice PL said NO, once when the first date was (I think it was Oct 30) then Dec 31...just by not having a deal signed it means "NO" NMX SP last ...more

It's funny how the Wabouchians brainwashed like mick can read into anything that doesn't even have anything to do with NMX but promotes EV or LI even if it's on another continent but can not see that PL said "NO" twice... you guys refuse to see reality that's right in front of you. CalAB you have a lot of credibility hanging on NMX going bust, what will you do if that doesn't happen in the coming months? Will you continue mouthing the same forecast for years until it actually comes true (as you do with everything else, or will you put your hands up and call it a day? To all shareholders - register as a creditor with PwC, you have until 17 April. It costs nothing to ...more

I wish you well and I hope you recoup your money you wasted in NMX...but I am a realist. I am warning you about what is coming thats all. Buy your silver now and you will recoup your losses otherwise I do not see how you make it in NMX but good luck to you.... I am one of the many that lost big before on similar situation, actually my investment was even more secured than NMX and still lost it ...more

CalAB thanks for what actually sounds like genuine (and good) advice. I had looked at the silver / gold ratio about a month ago and had considered taking a loss on some of my other lithium positions. But reminded myself I'm long for a reason, and that is dividends in 5+ years time, so my goal is building on positions when opportunities (and finances) allow, not chasing the next hot stock. Comment by mick1888 on Mar 30, 2020 9:05am
Ewaltz, I'm not on FB, so didn't join the group. But I did subscribe to their Web page (useful for advice in completing the form), gave them my proxy and I have joined the legal action. There main aim of keeping NMX public aligns with my wishes so I have not problem giving them my alegence.... :-)
